It felt like it was just a short while ago when Samantha and her brother Thomas came to live with some of our best friends, their older sister Shannon and her husband Jeremy.  We have been blessed to be a part of their lives and couldn’t be more happy to see them flourish into their own.  Samantha has become such a beautiful young lady full of smiles and a positive outlook for life, and her new hubby Damon is the same.  When they are together you can feel their connection and happy glow.  Two very special people with such genuine hearts and a great love for each other.

This day feels like it came so fast.  The weather was perfect for their beautiful outdoor ceremony, held on the family farm on his parent’s property in Allendale Michigan.  Guests were seated in gorgeous vintage white pews rested in front of the massive rugged cross Damon built himself from reclaimed barn beams.  The cross stood 12 feet high and was the perfect textured symbolic backdrop to illustrate their new beginning as one.

There was a little lump in my throat when Samantha came around the trees in a pretty dress perfectly fit for her.  Evident in the look on his face, his affection for her was unmistakable as his bride came down the aisle.  In honor of both her parents who passed when she was younger, her brother and sister gave her away together, quite a special moment to begin there ceremony.

Following was a beautiful tent reception on the lawn perfectly placed by the impressive Longhorns grazing in the field.  Delicious, mouthwatering food prepared by family, served on vintage china that came from several generations of grandparents, yummy cake made by some dear friends, floral arranged by the sweetest Aunt, all details wonderfully done by her amazing sister.  It all came together and was a beautiful fun evening for these two surrounded by friends and family that love them.

Congratulations Samantha and Damon!  Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your big day!
